Adventure Games and Sprite Ripping

It’s weird to me that the (Retro) Adventure Game community has built so many cool tools for accessing, exporting, and changing resources (primarily in re-usable engines like SCUMM, AGI, and SCI), but I haven’t really seen many exports of said data for those who don’t want to crack things open in the same way.

Anyways, here’s Roger Wilco in his Arcada uniform from Space Quest: The Sarien Encounter.

It looks a bit blurry because I’m just letting WordPress expand it, but the image itself is not enlarged in any way (apart from doubling the pixels horizontally, since they were stored and rendered with double-width in AGI)

Most of the AGI protagonists are similarly animated; Gwydion never has his arms at his sides in his up/down cycles and never puts his fist in front or behind him, and there’s a couple other minor changes across others (apart from hair/faces/outfits), but this should allow others to poke around if they like.
